Lightning ElectroStatic Ale to be Released in Bottles
Label approval just came through for this beer and I was able to confirm that this beer will be released shortly. One pallet's worth was bottled, and plan is to release it before the weather in San Diego cools down (if that really ever happens). On their site, this is listed as a summer seasonal, so locals get a nice little Indian Summer treat with this release.
Electrostatic Ale is Lightning's take on an Imperial-style Farmhouse Ale. It is brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat malt, a touch of bittering hops and some spicy hops. The yeast used should add additional spice notes to the beer.
